Biography

Dr. Yi-Xian Li, an atmospheric scientist, earned his PhD from a joint program between National Central University and Academia Sinica, Taiwan (2022), focusing on the applicability of Convective Quasi-Equilibrium theory to tropical temperatures. He was a postdoctoral fellow at National Central University (2022-2023) and a visiting postdoc at Nagoya University, Japan (2023-2024).


Yi-Xian recently joined Dr. Martin Singh's group as a research fellow at Monash SEAE to investigate the vertical structure of tropical atmospheric circulations.

Yi-Xian is open to supervising or co-supervising students who is interested in tropical climate and convection.
