Biography

Yeap Li Ling joined the School of Pharmacy, Monash University Malaysia in June 2022. She is a registered pharmacist in Malaysia and has extensive experience in both government and private hospitals in key areas such as intensive care unit, medical wards (respiratory, infectious diseases, gastroenterology and neurology) and oncology unit.

She obtained her undergraduate degree in pharmacy (BPharm (Hons)) and then a doctoral degree (PhD), both from the University of Malaya, Malaysia. Upon completion of her PhD, she joined the School of Pharmacy, Taylor’s University and then the Faculty of Malaya, University of Malaya as Pharmacy Lecturer.  She is a member of Malaysian Pharmaceutical Society, Pharmacy Board of Malaysia and Population Approach Group of Malaysia (PAGMAS). 

Her research focuses on pharmacometrics which quantifies drug effects, diseases and its variabilities using mathematical models. She also has strong research interest in medication use and safety in epilepsy, anaesthesia and pain management, critical care, oncology, and women’s health.
