Biography

Dr. Yasodha Sivasothy graduated from Universiti Sains Malaysia with a BSc in Chemistry and a PhD in Natural Products Chemistry. Prior to joining Monash University Malaysia, she was a staff of University of Malaya, Taylor's University and Sunway University. Her research focuses primarily on the extraction, isolation and characterisation of bioactive secondary metabolites from the Malaysian flora.

  • Isolation, analysis and bioactivity of essential oils from medicinal plants
  • Extraction, isolation and characterisation of bioactive secondary metabolites from medicinal plants
