Biography
Wai Meng is a Chartered Psychologist (CPsychol) by the British Psychological Society. He is currently the Head, Inclusion Lab for the (Future) Southeast Asian Centre for Workplace Wellbeing. He is a lecturer and management psychologist and has 10 years of working experience in both education & industry. He started his career in multiple consulting roles; firstly; in change management consulting followed by working in a global recruitment firm. Then, he transitioned into academia and was a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Psychology, HELP University where he had served for 5 years. Wai Meng holds a PhD in Applied Psychology (Nottingham), Msc. Management Psychology (with Distinction) (Nottingham), and a Bachelor of Psychology (First Class Honours) (HELP University).
He has a certificate in test user of psychometric evaluations & psychological testing (Level A & B) by the British Psychological Society and holds a Prince 2 certificate in project management. Wai Meng’s areas of interest lie in work, management, and organisational psychology. He is passionate about conducting research in organisations and believes that through integrating organisational research findings into workplace practices, this would allow organisations to sustain and flourish. He is skilled and experienced in both quantitative and qualitative research methodology.
