Biography
Dr. Chang Wei Sea is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Engineering (Mechanical) and Head of Nano-Analytical Platform (NAP), Monash University Malaysia. She received the B.Sc. (Hons) in materials physics from University of Technology Malaysia, the MSc degree in materials science and engineering from National University of Singapore, and the PhD from National University of Singapore. After PhD, she worked in a front-end semiconductor manufacturing industry. She then received a Taiwan National Science Council Postdoctoral Fellowship, and worked on the complext oxide epitaxial thin film technologies at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, National Chiao Tung University. She was the visiting scholar in SSLEEC, University California Santa Barbara from July-December 2018.

Her research interest focuses on:
- Functional material thin films hetero-, nano-structures for clean energy and electronic applications
- Photoactivity/Ferro- and piezoelectric/ photoelectrochemistry
- Nanoscale characterization using scanning probe microscopy
