Wanchao Su is a researcher specializing in interactive visual computing, particularly in the domains of computer graphics (CG) and human-computer interaction (HCI). His primary focus revolves around exploring the convergence of these fields to facilitate the human creativity and enhance the quality and user experience in visual content creation.

Currently Wanchao is egaged in exploring AI tools tailored for architectural design. This forms a pivotal part of his involvement in the Future Building Initiative. He serves as reviewers for multiple renouned academic journals and conferences in Computer Graphics, Human-Computer Interaction and Computer Vision, including TVCG, CGF, TCSVT, SIGGRAPH (Asia), CHI, CSCW, CVPR, Eurographics, Pacific Graphics, etc.
