Biography

Dr. Vetriselvan graduated from Annamalai University in India. His academic journey commenced in 2008 at Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore, accumulating over fifteen years of teaching and research experience across various universities. Notably, he has worked at prestigious institutions such as the School of Medicine at Arba Minch University in Ethiopia (under the UNDP program) and MAHSA University in Malaysia. During his Master's studies, he secured a sponsored research project from the Natural Remedies Research Centre in Bangalore in 2007. Dr. Vetriselvan's achievements extend to the filing of eight patents in different countries, including India, Germany, Australia, and South Africa. Additionally, he has authored over 180 papers, boasting a cumulative impact factor exceeding 500, and has contributed to six book chapters.

Recent accolades include Dr. Vetriselvan's receipt of an FRGS grant (FRGS/1/2023/SKK10/MUSM/02/3) from the Ministry of Higher Education, Malaysia, UKM grant, and University Malaya grant, along with internal and external pilot grants in 2021 and 2022. He has also taken on editorial roles, serving as an editor and Associate Editor for various journals, all while actively supervising Ph.D. and master's students. His expertise has garnered recognition, leading him to serve as a keynote and invited speaker at more than 25 conferences.
