Varghese Swamy is currently working as Associate Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Discipline
Research interests
- Nanoscale materials for “energy” (photovoltaics, fuel additives), “green” (photocatalysis), bio (imaging and drug delivery), and device (sensors, photodetectors) applications
- Advanced characterisations: size, shape, and strain of nanomaterials; nanomechanical properties
- Computational modelling of mineral, metal, and ceramic systems
- Engineered materials under extreme conditions (stress/temperature/size/chemistry: corrosion)
