Biography

Dr Vanassa Ratnasingam is Senior Lecturer in General Practice and Family Medicine at Clinical School Johor Bahru, Monash University Malaysia. Dr Ratnasingam completed her undergraduate in Kasturba Medical College Manipal, India and graduated with MBBS in 1994. She joined the Jeffrey Cheah School of Medicine and Health Sciences, Monash University Malaysia in March 2009 as Lecturer in General Practice & Family Medicine. Prior to this, she was a sessional staff with Monash Malaysia since May 2008. Her previous attachment was as a general practitioner at a general practice clinic in Johor Bahru. She had previously served in various departments at Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Hospital Kota Bahru & Hospital Sultanah Aminah Johor Bahru. She is currently involved in Year 4 teaching in General Practice & Family Medicine at the Johor Bahru campus.
