Biography

Tram is a senior lecturer in the Department of Banking and Finance with over 14 years of teaching experience at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. She has taught in the areas of bank management, global banking, and credit analysis. Tram is passionate about integrating sustainability principles and business ethics into her teaching curriculum. In 2018, she received the Monash Business School Dean’s Award for Teaching Excellence for innovative efforts in promoting active learning among large student cohorts.

Tram’s research interests lie in debt contracting, loan syndications, financial intermediation, corporate governance and climate finance. Her research has been published in international refereed journals, e.g. Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Financial Markets, Journal of Business Finance and Accounting, International Review of Finance.

Tram holds degrees from Monash University (PhD, Bachelor of Business (Honours)) and the University of Adelaide (Bachelor of Finance).
