Personal profile


Tony Huynh completed his PhD in the Department of Combinatorics & Optimization at the University of Waterloo under the supervision of Jim Geelen.  Before coming to Monash, he held postdoctoral positions at CWI Amsterdam and Maastricht University with Bert Gerards, at KAIST with Sang-il Oum, at Simon Fraser University with Matt DeVos and Luis Goddyn, at Sapienza – Università di Roma with Paul Wollan, and at Université libre de Bruxelles with Samuel Fiorini.

He is mainly interested in graphs, matroids, and combinatorial optimization.  Together will Laura Anderson, Nathan Bowler, Nick Brettell, Rutger Campbell, Relinde Jurrius, Rose McCarty, and Jorn van der Pol, he is an editor of the Matroid Union Blog.  See his personal website or MathOverflow account for more on his research interests.
