Biography
Dr Toby Winton-Brown is a psychiatrist raised in rural NSW and trained in Sydney, Melbourne and London, with particular interests in mental health problems in young people, and in those with medical and neurological problems. Toby now works in consultation-liaison and neuropsychiatry in a large Melbourne teaching hospital, and recently was also at headspace helping those with psychosis, mood and personality problems and trauma. He has trained in several psychotherapies including Mentalisation based therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and uses these together with pharmacotherapy to help patients with a wide range of mental health problems on their journey to recovery.
