Biography
Dr Thuong Tran’s research focuses on remote sensing, geospatial science, and Earth observation to understand environmental change in coastal and terrestrial ecosystems. He specialises in integrating multi-sensor satellite data, including Landsat, Sentinel, and SAR, with advanced spatial analytics and machine learning to monitor vegetation dynamics, shoreline change, and land surface processes.
His work contributes to advancing long-term monitoring of mangrove ecosystems, coastal sustainability, and climate-driven landscape change. His research aims to support evidence-based environmental management and climate adaptation through innovative geospatial technologies and Earth observation data. Dr Tran is open to collaboration with scholars and researchers worldwide to advance scientific knowledge and publish in leading international journals in environmental science and remote sensing.
