Dr. Yang is an open-minded researcher who quest new technology in advancing structural engineering. His research interests include artificial intelligence for structural quantification, smart sensing technology and strcutural dynamics for bridges (e.g., smart cities, structural health monitoring), computational mechanics for advanced materials design (e.g., 3D printing), and time-series data analysis. He has published tens of papers in international peer-reviewed journals and has been a reviewer for several international journals. Besides, he also has practical experience at large engineering companies for designing hospitals and residential buildings.
