Biography

Dr Lang is a Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Medical Oncology at Cabrini Health. Tali leads the Medical Oncology Translational Research Program which is at the forefront of new clinical and research driven collaborations in the areas of breast cancer and lung cancer with Monash University and the Victorian Lung Cancer Registry. 

Dr Lang has also developed new innovative platforms within the department to evaluate and improve cancer care, patient treatment outcomes, best practice in clinical care and overall survival .  

Dr Lang has a background in immunology and cell biology, with particular expertise in macrophage migration inhibitory factor (MIF), macrophage biology, innate immunity, host-pathogen interactions, male infertility and autoimmunity.

Dr Lang has published her research in the highest ranking journals in her field including Nature Communications, Journal of Hepatology, Autophagy and Frontiers Immunology.
