Biography

Susie is a Registered Nurse with a background in cardiac and emergency specialties. Using this nursing experience she is also a passionate basic and advanced life support instructor. It is with this combined experience that Susie undertook a PhD in 2014 investigating a targeted approach to basic life support training for family members of high-risk cardiac patients. In 2017 Susie joined the NHMRC Pre-hospital Emergency Care Centre for Research Excellence (PEC-ANZ) as a Research Fellow.
