Surekha Gaikwad is an AI and Data Science Research Fellow at the Monash Data Futures Institute, where she works with a set of leading cross-disciplinary experts to enhance health sciences, governance , policy and sustainable development using data-driven AI. Surekha Gaikwad did her Bachelors in Computer Science from Pune University, India. After that, she worked as both Software Developer and Quality Assurance Analyst in various organisations. She has wide experience in terms of various technologies related to both front end and backend development. While working in CDK Global, she has been a part of branding ambassador to represent the organisation in the market. She is very passionate and ambitious when it comes to her research career. Recently she completed her Masters of Computing (Advance) from the Australian National University (ANU) with the specialisation in Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision. She also did her research project in collaboration with the Australian Federal Police and ANU by using various deep learning techniques.
