Biography

Stuart holds a Bachelor of Science majoring in Astrophysics, as well as a Master of Data Science specializing in Machine Learning, Neural Networks, and Big Data Processing.

Stuart has a diverse professional background, starting with working as a business analyst for a real estate company where they applied their analytical skills to understand market trends and forecast future developments. After gaining valuable experience in data analysis, Stuart then took on a role as a consultant for a successful consulting firm, where they helped clients optimize their use of technology to improve their business operations, with a focus on Data Engineering and software integrations.

Currently, Stuart is working as a research fellow within the Monash Data Futures Institute where they are using their expertise in machine learning and neural networks to conduct novel research in the field of data science.

Overall, Stuart is a highly skilled data scientist with a strong background in both academia and industry, and their unique combination of skills in astrophysics and data science allows them to approach problem-solving with a unique perspective.

Research interests

Stuart's research interest is in novel applications of formal and informal artifical intelligence. Specifically, applications of Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Big Data Processing with a view for sustainability.
