Personal profile

Biography

I am an infectious disease immunologist with expertise in bioinformatics. My research focuses on understanding host immune responses to mosquito-borne diseases such as malaria and dengue through computational integration of multi-modal data. I am a skilled R programmer, experienced in performing robust RNA-seq analyses of highly variable datasets from clinical field studies. I have extensive wet-lab experience in sample handling, RNA extraction, and library preparation for high-value clinical samples. As a “humid” scientist, I am passionate about bridging the communication divide between experimental biologists and bioinformaticians.
