Biography

Stephanie Brookes joined the Journalism Program at Monash University in July 2013, where she teaches Journalism Studies.

She was previously Lecturer in the Media and Communications program, School of Culture and Communication, at the University of Melbourne, where she has also worked in the School of Social and Political Sciences. Dr. Brookes has also held positions at the Melbourne Writers' Festival, Crikey! and The Reader magazine.

From September 2011-July 2012, Dr. Brookes was a Visiting Researcher in the School of Communication, Culture and Technology at Georgetown University.
