Biography

Dr Samoborec is a Clinical Epidemiologist and currently works as an Injury and Rehabilitation Research Fellow at the Turner Institute for Brain and Mental Health. She also holds a Lecturer position at the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine at Monash University.  Dr Samoborec completed her doctoral training at Department of Epidemiology and Preventive Medicine, specialising in General Public Health and Epidemiology.  Dr Samoborec has extensive experience in medical education and clinical/public health practice and research. She teaches various units across undergraduate and postgraduate medical and biomedical degrees such as Epidemiology, Population Health, Health Promotion, Evidence Based Medicine and Evidence Based Clinical Practice. She is also a Unit Coordinator and Chief Examiner for the Pharmacoepidemiology unit.
