Biography
Dr. Sneha Chrispal's research focuses on inequalities of gender and caste in organizations, and society, at a broader level. To study these inequalities, she uses theoretical lenses like decolonial/postcolonial theory and institutional theory. She received her PhD from the University of Melbourne, Australia, where she received the Williams Prize for Excellence in the Business and Economics PhD Thesis for her work to understand efforts to challenge gendered violence in India. She has published in journals like the Academy of Management Annals, Organization Studies, Journal of Business Ethics (both papers were awarded runners-up for the Financial Times Responsible Business Education Awards 2022) and Journal of International Business Policy, amongst others. In addition, she has also published two book chapters on postcolonial theory and human resource management, and accessing marginalized voices using netnography.
She has experience in teaching subjects like Business ethics, International Business and Organizational Behavior.
Dr. Chrispal also comes with over seven years of industry experience in real estate, particularly marketing and operations management, and in the hospitality industry.
