Biography

Simon Craig is a paediatric emergency medicine physician at Monash Medical Centre, Clayton, and an Adjunct Clinical Professor in the Department of Paediatrics, School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health.

With a strong interest in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, Simon also has a Masters of Health Professional Education and a Masters of Public Health. He is past chair of the Australian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) Trainee Research Executive Panel, and on the executive of the ACEM Emergency Department Epidemiology Network.

Simon is currently vice-chair of PREDICT (www.predict.org.au) and has broad research interests in paediatric emergency medicine.

Simon is editor of the successful Monash Children's Paediatric Emergency Medication Book, now in its second edition (www.monashchildrenshospital.org/resuscitation), the newly released Doctor's Bag Companion (www.doctorsbagcompanion.com.au) and was recently editor of the latest edition of Textbook of Paediatric Emergency Medicine.

He has published over 50 peer reviewed journal articles, is a section editor of Emergency Medicine Australasia and BMC Pediatrics, and regularly reviews articles for a number of local and international journals.
