Simon works in the School of Physics and Astronomy at Monash University as an ARC-funded Future Fellow.


Simon's research areas of interest are:

  • Stellar evolution
  • Stellar nucleosynthesis
  • 3D fluid-dynamical simulations of stellar interiors
  • Chemical abundance problems of Galactic globular clusters
  • Dynamics of binary star systems
