Biography

Sharif Rasel is a Scholarly Teaching Fellow in the Department of Management at Monash Business School. Sharif received his PhD from Monash University in 2017. Situated within the contemporary theoretical debates in international business literature, his Ph.D. thesis examined within-country location decision strategies of international firms using a multi-disciplinary approach that is grounded in the fields of international business and economic geography. His current research activities focus on the influences of location on the entrepreneurial decision of farm holdings to diversify business; and the impact of within-country heterogeneity on international business strategies. Sharif currently teaches International Business Stratey (MGX3121), and Strategic Leadership (MGF5928).
