Personal profile

Biography

I am a Senior Lecturer in the School of Educational Psychology and Counselling at Monash University.  By profession, I am a registered psychologist with endorsement in educational and developmental psychology, and a board-approved supervisor.  I have worked across education, disability, community, and medical settings. Since completing my PhD at Monash University in 2015, I have taught psychological assessment in the Master of Educational and Developmental Psychology and Master of Professional Psychology programs.   

Research interests

  • The psychology of individual differences (cognitive abilities, personality and career interests)
  • Psychometrics (design, construction, validation, and evaluation of psychological instruments)
  • Complex psychological assessment and treatment planning
  • The application of Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) in treating mental illnesses
  • Trauma in military and emergency services workers
