Biography

Selena Nemorin is a senior lecturer and researcher in the Faculty of Education at Monash University. Her research interests include digital sociology, critical theories of technology, surveillance and society, and human-machine interactions. She is responsible for leading and teaching educational technology units in both the undergraduate and postgraduate environment. Selena is currently working on a research project examining how young people use and understand AI technologies in Global South settings. She has also worked on research projects exploring digital schools, educational equity and inclusion, the experiences of internationally educated female teachers and their integration into K-12 schools, as well as human rights policies and procedures in post-secondary institutions.
