Biography

Sangeeta has worked as a clinical nurse specialist at Monash Health for over 13 years, primarily in the coronary care unit and emergency department. With a wealth of experience in critical care nursing, she has taken on numerous leadership roles and served as an invaluable mentor and preceptor. Her passion for cardiac care nursing led her to pursue a Master's degree in nursing with a specialization in cardiology.

During her Master's program, she conducted ground-breaking research on the nursing management of patients post Coronary angiogram, demonstrating their commitment to advancing the field. In 2018, she embarked on a teaching career and has since made significant contributions to the education sector. She has held teaching positions at various institutions, teaching both the Diploma of Nursing and Bachelor of Nursing programs. During that period, she has played a pivotal role in developing resources for a flipped curriculum, ensuring that students receive a comprehensive and engaging learning experience.

Currently, Sangeeta is enrolled for an Honours degree at Monash University. Her research project focuses on the health literacy practices of nurses working in cardiac rehabilitation centres.
