Biography

Sandip joined the Department of Accounting of Monash Business School in January 2018. He obtained his PhD in Accounting from the University of Houston and has worked at the Indian School of Business in Hyderabad, India and the University of Melbourne before joining Monash University. Sandip’s research is in the area of financial accounting. He is interested in financial reporting quality and management disclosures (voluntary forecasts and textual disclosures). Sandip also works in the area of analyst forecasts and climate change. His research has been published in The Accounting Review, Energy Economics, Journal of Business Finance & Accounting, Journal of Accounting, Auditing and Finance, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy and the International Journal of Accounting Information Systems.
