Dr. Yunqi (Ryan) Wang received the M.E. degree and Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Sydney, Australia, in 2018 and 2022, respectively. He is currently a Research Fellow with the Department of Data Science & AI, and Monash Energy Institute, Monash University. He is also a research affiliate for an ARC-funded research hub with the University of Sydney. He is a member of IEEE, IET, and CIGRE.

His research interests include low-carbon energy transition, power system planning and operation, multi-energy system cooperation, electric vehicle fleet management as well as applications of optimization theory and machine learning in these fields.
