Biography

Ruonan Sun graduated with a bachelor's degree in the IT program from the University of Canberra. He furthered his education at the Australian National University (ANU), where he obtained both a postgraduate degree and a Ph.D. in management information systems. During his doctoral studies, he served as an associate lecturer. In November 2020, he became a faculty member at Lancaster University Management School, where he remained until the conclusion of 2023 before joining Monash University.

His current research interests include projects related to platform service and governance, information diffusion on digital channels, and the application of information technology in rural economics. Ruonan is enthusiastic about collaborating with prospective Ph.D. students who share an interest in these research areas.
