Boundary-layer transition is one of the most interesting problems in the fluid community, especially in super/hypersonic flows. I am interested in using both asymptotic and numerical approaches to reveal the transition mechanisms, e.g. different kinds of linear instability and several nonlinear resonances. For the past few years, my colleagues and I have developed several efficient numerical tools, which makes it possible to solve both scientific and engineering problems.
