Biography

I am Principal Scientist at NRL, a division of St Vincent's Institute, and oversee the Testing, External Quality Assessment Scheme and Production teams. NRL is accredited by NATA under ISO15189 (Medical Testing Laboratory) and ISO17043 (Proficiency Testing Scheme Provider) as well as TGA for GMP and BSI for ISO9001 and ISO4801. I have an ongoing appointment at the Burnet Institute, where I am involved in the production of a WHO guidance, as well as the development of a rapid point of care assay for sepsis.


I am Chief Scientific Officer of 360biolabs which is a NATA accredited facility that performs a wide range of validated immunological assays, and conforms with the internationally recognised quality management standard ISO/IEC17025. I also have a strong commitment to the education of outstanding undergraduate and postgraduate students, and teach Immunology to medical, science and biomedical students at Monash University.
