Personal profile


I am a Research Fellow in the School of Earth, Atmosphere and Environment working with Christian Jakob to improve the representation of convection in Australia's weather and climate model ACCESS. My research is funded under the National Environmental Science Programme (NESP) Earth Systems and Climate Change (ESCC) Hub.

My previous postdoc (also at Monash) was part of an ARC Linkage Project with University of Southern Queensland, the Bureau of Meteorology, and Suncorp Ltd, and was concerned with the climatology of hail storms in Australia. Prior to this, I completed a PhD in Meteorology at the University of Reading (UK) looking at quasi-stationary convective systems.
