Biography

Dr Rachel Forgasz is adjunct senior lecturer in the Faculty of Education. Rachel's early research and teaching centred on the role of emotion and embodiment in facilitating transformational teaching and learning. In 2018, she turned her attention to transforming the nature and purposes of Education in the context of global climate crisis. To that end, she developed Climate7, a  framework that supports the transition to climate consciousness. She offers Climate7 workshops and webinars for schools, families, and community organisations looking to create positive communities of change.
