Biography

Pingping works in the Department of Marketing as a Lecturer. Her research interests are mainly in the areas of self-regulation, advertising, service marketing, and retailing. Her current major projects deal with the relationship between consumers' self-regulation of threat and their purchase preferences, negative emotion regulation in subtle service failures, and cross-cultural differences in consumer behaviours. Pingping's papers have published in the Journal of Business Research and the Journal of Teaching in International Business. She has also presented at various international marketing conferences including the Association for Consumer Research and the Australian and New Zealand Marketing Academy Conference.
