Accepting PhD Students

PhD projects

I am seeking high quality PhD students interested in integrating geophysical and geological data sets to solve large scale tectonic problems.

Research activity per year

If you made any changes in Pure these will be visible here soon.

Personal profile

Research interests

1. Structural Geophysics: combining structural geology methodology to interpretation and modelling of the Earth's magnetic and gravity fields.

2. Precambrian Evolution of the Australian continent.

3. Proterozoic plate tectonic reconstructions.

4. Ocean initiation processes and Red Sea tectonics.

5. Subduction zone geodynamics with and emphasis on subduction congestion.

6. Mineral system analysis with an emphasis on Fe-oxide Cu-Au, shale-hosted Pb-Zn, and porphyry Cu-Au deposits.
