Personal profile

Research interests

My research focuses on exploring the role of neuroinflammation in the development of acquired epilepsy through the utilization of preclinical models. I investigate the underlying mechanisms and assess the potential of measuring brain inflammation as a biomarker for abnormalities in epileptic brains. In the course of my study, I introduce a novel animal model dedicated to epilepsy research and propose innovative strategies to modulate brain inflammation as a potential therapeutic target in preventing the development of epilepsy.
