Biography

Dr Ho Chi Lui is currently Professor with School of Pharmacy, Monash University Malaysia. He obtained his B. Pharm. (Hons) and Ph.D. from the University of Queensland. After graduation, he did his postdoctoral study at the respective Upjohn Center for Clinical Pharmacology, University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) and Queensland Institute for Medical Research. He also did an attachment at the National Institute for Aging, National Institutes of Health (Baltimore). In 2011, Dr Ho was awarded the outstanding medical graduate drug technology mentor award by the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists in Washington DC; and the outstanding scientist award by the Faculty of Science, National University of Singapore. Dr Ho is the honorary professor of Xi’an Jiaotong University. Dr Ho was one of the thrust leads in the Centre for Additive Manufacturing (AM@NUS), contributing to 3D printing for pharmaceutical application. Dr Ho is a licensed pharmacist in both Singapore and Australia.

Research Interests

Dr Ho’s current research interests are on pharmacokinetics and biopharmaceutics for CNS diseases, especially on drug resistant epilepsy, and Alzheimer’s disease.
