Biography

Ms Terrill is a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. She trained in Victoria and also three years undertaking further training in the UK.

Since 1993, she has been a consultant Plastic Surgeon employed in both the public and private sectors.

In public, she is employed by the Peninsula Health Care Network. She was Head of the Plastic Surgery Unit at Frankston Hospital from1996 to 2023. Her main contribution has been in developing the unit from 2 single surgeons when she commenced to a large unit now with 12 consultants, 6 registrars and 3 HMO’s. Along with this has been her clinical role, involvement with registrar teaching and management of the day to day running of the unit.

She has an active surgical practice specialising in skin cancers and hand surgery, cosmetic breast and abdominal surgery and wound management. She is a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Australian Hand Surgery Association. A retired member of the Australian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons & American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

She also has an appointment as a Senior lecturer at Monash University. She continues being involvesd and running studies and research in skin cancer and wound management . More recently she has developed 2 videos to help train medical students and residents in communication and obtaining informed consent.
