Biography
Pari is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Information Technology, Monash University.
She has over 12 years of experience in developing intelligent, context-aware mobile and IoT applications, focusing on converting data from multiple social and physical sources into situational intelligence.
She has introduced the first ontology for emergency management in mass gatherings (DO4MG) published in the Australian National Data Services library, and a new framework for developing and evaluating ontologies published in the DSS journal, cited over 200 times.
Pari has worked closely with medical professionals and experts from Alfred, Cabrini, Eastern Health, Monash Health, Peninsula Health, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, and Fiona Stanley Hospital to design and develop personalised and context-aware solutions for real time management and monitoring of chronic conditions and diseases.
