Biography

Dr. Osamah Al-Qershi is a post-doctoral research fellow at the faculty of Information Technology, Monash University. He obtained his bachelor degree in computer control engineering from University of Technology, Baghdad. Then, he obtained both his masters and Ph.D. degrees in Image Processing from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM).

Research interests

My main research interests currently include:

  • Deep learning-based early prediction of breast cancer
  • Utilizing deep learning in image forensics and steganography
  • Computer vision in marketing analytics
