Personal profile

Biography

I am a high temperature geochemist and oversee the radiogenic isotope facilities at SEAE. For my research, I use rock and mineral chemistry and stable and radiogenic isotope compositions to study present and past geologic processes.

My ARC Future Fellowship research aims at (i) ocean floor geochemistry, including its formation, alteration and destruction and associated mineralisation (ii) intra-plate volcanism (oceanic islands, such as Hawaii) and their sources in the deep mantle, (iii) the evolution of large scale geochemical reservoirs such as the continental crust, the lithospheric mantle or isolated areas in the deep Earth's interior, and (iv) early solar system sciences through the study of meteorites.

If you have questions about my research or require a media expertise, don't hesitate to contact me.
