Biography

Nicole has been a Registered Nurse for 12 years, working primarily in the Emergency Department as a Clinical Nurse Specialist and Associate Nurse Manager before joining Monash Nursing and Midwifery in 2017 as a teaching associate before progressing to the role of lecturer in 2019.

As part of her Masters of Advanced Clinical Nursing, Nicole explored the impact of art and reflective practice in medical education. Nicole believes that students learn in many different ways is passionate about innovative methods to enhance student engagement and nursing education. This belief is embedded in her research interests; impactful learning experiences and methods to enhance student learning and approach to teaching; building communities, learning together and from each other.
