Dr. Ng Jia Hui joined the School of Pharmacy, Monash University Malaysia as a Lecturer in 2023. She graduated from the University of Queensland in 2018 with BPharm (First Class Honours) with a major in clinical and experimental therapeutics. Jia Hui completed her doctoral study in Medicinal Chemistry from Monash University Malaysia. She has been working on the development of practical methods for the synthesis of purine-like heterocyclic compounds, particularly using microwave-assisted multicomponent reactions. Jia Hui’s papers received two Excellent Publication Awards from the School of Pharmacy (2022 and 2023). She was one of two South-East Asia recipients of the TienTe Lee Biomedical Foundation-YSP Excellent Scientific Paper Award 2023.
