Personal profile
Biography
I am an Early Career Intensivist and Critical Care Epidemiologist. I hold substantive clinical appointments with Monash Health as an Intensivist at Monash Medical Centre and the Victorian Heart Hospital. I am also an Adjunct Associate Professor in the School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health, and the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine at Monash University. I am currently a 2023-34 BJA Editorial Fellow.
I have extensive and diverse clinical experience in large tertiary hospitals in the UK and Australia, and a unique track record of high performance in both academia and postgraduate education provision. I am actively involved with CICM and ANZICs national committees in these spaces. I am currently returning to high level research activity post-pandemic as a Chief Investigator with the $4.9M NHMRC MRFF-funded MEGA-SCORES translational interdisciplinary research group.
