Biography

Dr Neha Kaul is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and early-career researcher specialising in nutrition therapies for neurological conditions including epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, migraine, movement disorders, stroke and traumatic brain injury. 

Dr Kaul has led the establishment of the multidisciplinary dietary therapy for epilepsy and headache disorders program at Alfred Health; one of the few services worldwide providing specialist care specifically for adults with neurological conditions. As an early-career, clinician-researcher her research focusses on the practical aspects and implementation of diet-based treatments. She also has a special interest in the emerging use of digital health and medical devices to improve nutrition care.

Dr Kaul holds leadership positions in the International League Against Epilepsy, including the Global Advocacy Council (2020-) and Communications Taskforce Leaders of the Young Epilepsy Section (2018-2022). She is the Ketogenic Diet Interest Group Convernor for Dietitians Australia, and a member of the Ketogenic Dietitians Research Network.
