Biography

Namrata Srivastava is a newly appointed research fellow in the Data Science and Artificial Intelligence department, Faculty of Information Technology. She will be working in the Center for Learning Analytics at Monash (CoLAM), under the supervision of Professor Dragan Gasevic.
 
Namrata is currently finishing her doctorate degree from The University of Melbourne with a thesis entitled "Towards Sensor-based Learning Analytics" under the supervision of Prof. James Bailey, Dr Jason Lodge, Dr Eduardo Velloso, and Dr Sarah Erfani. Her research background includes combining sensor-based technology (eye-tracking and thermal imaging) and machine learning techniques in the context of digital learning.
