Biography

Mohd Fikree bin Hassan joined the School of Information Technology, Monash University Malaysia, as a Lecturer in June 2023. He received a B.Eng. degree in electronic engineering, majoring in telecommunications, from Multimedia University in 2004. After working in the telecommunications industry for six years, Fikree started his career as a lecturer. 

He continued his postgraduate studies at the University of Malaya, where he was awarded a Master of Engineering degree in 2015 and subsequently a Ph.D. in 2018. He has more than 14 years of academic experience, including teaching, supervision, research, and administration. 

His research interest includes signal and image processing, specifically focusing on developing image enhancement and restoration algorithms and applications for computer vision.
