Biography
Mihye is an Associate Professor in the Faculty of Education at Monash University, specialising in innovative educational strategies that deepen students' understanding of scientific concepts and reasoning. Her research emphasises dialogic teaching and the integration of visual tools, including student-generated diagrams, immersive Virtual Reality, and generative AI, to create more engaging and effective science learning experiences.
Mihye has successfully led international, multidisciplinary research teams, funded by the Australian Research Council (ARC), significantly contributing to advancing students' collaborative problem-solving and scientific thinking.
Her work supports not only students but also teachers, doctoral students, and early career researchers, fostering a research environment that is both supportive and growth-oriented.
